Get Your Vampire R&R "Ravena & The Resurrected" (First Time In Hard Copy!)

Ravena & The Resurected, by Tami Jackson, is now available as a hard copy at both and on Click on either link to preview this Seattle based vampire novel.

Ravena & The Resurrected has been available as an eBook on Smashwords since October 2010. The publisher is moving forward with having the book published in print due to sales and 4-5 star reviews there.

Ravena & The Resurrected (R&R) features a likable but awkward young professional, a year out of college, whose technically inclined. Main character, Ravena Doomlah, works for the downtown central library in computer repair. After work, she follows her dreams for meeting vampires, but when she becomes resurrected, she learns that being dead is very different from what she had imagined.

R&R is probably the only vampire novel that puts an entire lair of fang-bearers in the middle of a wooded forest where they mesmerize the wildlife so the animals will fight on their behalf.

NOT A CHILDREN'S BOOK: This book does have romantic yearning, one brief sex scene (not too descriptive) and violence appropriate for a werewolf/vampire novel. Because of these facts, R&R is not appropriate for young children. Meanwhile, bloggers are rating this book a "must read."

"Instead of taking a blood bath, some of the most heinous vampires prefer to rip off someone's head and dance in the resultant warm shower." ~ Vampire Ross Neterrer (regarding other vampires he loathes)

"If you think you're good at explaining something - just see if a werewolf understands it. And good luck with that." ~ Vampire Dresmona

"Oh I am in the loop! I'm just not into Lupins." ~ Vampire Dresmona

"He's no werewolf. He's hairy alright & howls at the moon but soon as ya say "boo" he begins sucking his thumb." ~ Vampire Dresmona ("Ravena & The Resurrected")

"I'm at a party and feel like a fire hydrant with all these werewolves staring at me like they badly need to relieve themselves." ~ Ravena Doomlah (Vamchoir)

Ever just want to laugh: 'Vlah-haha' for no apparent reason?" ~ Ravena Doomlah, Vamchoir

Oh.My.Gosh . This book was a delight and such a wonderful surprise. The cover scared me a little at first but from the moment I met Ravena and her quirky sense of humor, I was hooked.

Okay, I read Tami's book last week and loved the humour of Ravena and her bolshy attitude to life which was refreshing. I also liked the addition of songs throughout which she wrote herself (Ravena) and then with a rather yummy male (for details read the book!) The flow was great and there was plenty of suspense and revelation, leading to the ending which totally surprised me. READ IT and SEE!"

This book is sensational! Tami Jackson takes vampire pop fiction into an entirely new direction. (No sparkly vampires here!) She captures the true essence of vampire in this upbeat modern tale of vampires in Seattle. Ravena & The Resurrected spares no gory details in the bloodbath that is vampire life but it also captures the Seattle landscape in a meticulously detailed and exciting form! The adventure leaves you breathless right up to the end.
